This provides you with a camera that features a 1″-type sensor and the capability to capture footage in multiple formats including DV, HD, and 4K (UHD). Don’t let the compact size fool you, the features and functionality packed into this kit make it suitable for use as an A camera, and not just a glorified B camera. And, this is before you activate the 4K upgrade.
The camera features Slow and Quick motion, which allows you to capture footage shot at a variety of frame rates in camera, as opposed to interpolating frames in post. The 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs allow the camera to be at home in both a professional infrastructure as well as a more consumer-oriented production. The XLR audio inputs support line, mic, and mic plus 48, allowing you to work with professional mics. Wireless LAN control is supported from select mobile devices.
